Annie Lyles, MHA, BSN, RN, is the manager of our associate care management program. This is an important program that helps our teammates and their family members manage complex or chronic medical conditions.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Annie and her team faced many clinical and emotional challenges. However, she is so impressed by the work that has been accomplished despite these roadblocks.
“We were trying to connect resources and answer questions about a disease we had little information on,” she shares. “We grew so much stronger though as a result of working together alongside our nursing partners. This team really went for it. Supporting our frontline workers was of the utmost importance to us so that they could in turn care for our patients.”
The most rewarding aspect of work for Annie is hearing the patient success stories from team members or their family members.
“These stories are due to the fantastic work of our team of nurses and social workers. They always pull together internal and external resources for those who need it.”
Providing high-quality care is very important to Annie and her team.
“We want to ensure that every team member and family member feels the compassion of our ministry when they are going through one of the toughest points in their lives. Our nurses also demonstrate excellence by advocating for the best care possible for their patients.”
She is so proud of the work her associate care management team continues to do.
“Our team has some fantastic nurses that… make sure our team members also have good help when they need it.”
