On Oct. 25, 2022, our ministry proudly introduced a new hospital to the Hampton Roads area.
Bon Secours Harbour View Hospital will bring advanced health care to communities of northern Suffolk and western Hampton Roads. The hospital is approximately 98,000 square feet and will join the Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View campus. The facility will include 18 medical/surgical beds and up to four operating rooms. Additionally, Harbour View Hospital will serve as an new resource to the services offered at Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View campus.
“We are thrilled to break ground on our new Harbour View Hospital and celebrate this major milestone for our ministry,” Pat Davis-Hagens, our Hampton Roads market president, shares. “This hospital will make a significant difference for the residents of northern Suffolk and western Hampton Roads who will be able to receive advanced surgical care in their own community. We look forward to continuing to expand access to quality, compassionate medical care for this community, now and well into the future.”
Bon Secours is continuing to address the needs of the western Hampton Roads community to provide the best quality of care. In fact, Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View was established as the first health system in the area to respond to population growth in the Hampton Roads are. And now, Harbour View Hospital will continue this legacy of providing quality services to patients.

Bon Secours Harbour View Hospital will join other hospitals in our Hampton Roads market including Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital, Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center and Bon Secours Southampton Medical Center.
