Bon Secours Richmond Community Hospital recently hosted a blessing ceremony for its newly remodeled behavioral health unit. Now murals with calming colors and a beautiful design now fill what once were plain walls. The custom murals feature clouds, dogwood blooms and inspirational quotes to create a positive and healing environment.

The murals were designed and painted by local artist Jason Ford, whose work caught the eye of Leigh Sewell, president of Bon Secours Richmond Community Hospital. Jason helped Leigh’s vision, and that of the behavioral unit staff, come to life and after months of dedication, and the final product was completed this past December.

Bon Secours St. Francis Health System in Greeville, SC celebrated the completion of its sixth @habitatforhumanity home build recently during a special dedication ceremony. Andrew and Dena Leake, along with their two children – 3-year-old Andrew Jr. and 1-year-old Lydia – are excited and ready to move into their new home. They received several housewarming gifts during the event – including a toolbox, a lawnmower and personalized quilts. The Leake home is the latest of ten houses Bon Secours has committed to building in the Sterling community. Welcome home, Leake family!
